The Bride
Hey! I'm Ashley. I was born in Boise in 1986. We moved around a little bit when I was a toddler, but in 1995 (when I was 8), my world turned upside down. My family was uprooted and shipped to Taipei, Taiwan, a place I could point to on a map, but knew nothing about. Slowly but surely I became accustomed to overseas life, and was starting to like Taipei. Right about that time, we were uprooted again, this time to Cairo, Egypt.
It was in Cairo that I spent my formative years of middle and high school, making friends and then just as quickly losing them as their families moved away. It was a totally unique experience that I will never forget, and which has shaped who I am today.
After I graduated from high school (in front of the Great Pyramids), I started college at Ball State University. After two years there, I got sick and spent a year at home, after which I transfered to Boise State.
I knew about Taylor because he lived in the residence hall where I worked as an RA, but we never officially met. It wasn't until the following August, when we were placed on the same RA staff, that we met and started getting to know one another.

The Groom
Sup, this is Taylor. I was born in Miami but scarcely remember it because we moved when I was 4. I have always kind of thought of Miami as home and am a fanatic for Dolphins football. We moved to CDA Idaho, and even at age four I remember saying "I don't want to move to Idaho, it's boring there." I was right, but it turns out that I am a boring person, so it worked out okay.
I was homeschooled until 10th grade, then I started attending a private Christian school. I was very thankful for the opportunity to actually learn some social skills before heading to the real world (something they don't really teaach while being homeschooled).
Being the homeschooled son of a Southern-Baptist minister caused me to enter the real world a very sheltered and somewhat oblivious individual. I have since opened up and learned to see the world through my own eyes.
I took time off after high school and then wasted threee semesters at a community college before my friends convinced me to come to BSU in 2007. I spent my first year admiring the very attractive person on the RA bulletin board in my residence hall. I would later be blessed to meet and fall in love with this hottie.
